Visas That Allow You to Work in New Zealand

New Zealand offers diverse opportunities for foreign nationals who wish to migrate to the beautiful Oceania country for work-related purposes.

If you are from India, you must apply for a work visa before you can enter New Zealand to work. If your visa application is successful, you will have access to a stable economy, high-quality healthcare, and excellent education.

The New Zealand work visas cater to different work purposes, including short-term business visits, long-term visas for skilled jobs, and work visas for individuals with exceptional talents, among others.

It’s important to review each work visa’s eligibility requirements before applying. Several work visas may require you to have a previous job offer, and a few may need specific skills and qualifications.

You’ll also need to consider your family reunification goals. Some work visas will allow you to bring your dependents, while others will not. The visa you should apply for should suit your qualifications, immigration goals, and other individual circumstances.

Our immigration lawyers can help you determine your eligibility for each of the New Zealand work visas. Call +44 (0)333 305 9375 to speak to one of our lawyers.

What Are the Common Reasons for the Visa Denial in New Zealand for Indian Citizens?

A New Zealand visa application can be denied for several reasons. Even after a visa has been approved, the immigration authorities can deny entry at the border if they are not satisfied that you met the entry requirements.

Here are some common reasons for visa denials:

        1. If you do not meet the health and character requirements, you are a risk to New Zealand’s security and public safety.
        2. If you provided false or misleading information in your visa application or to an immigration officer.
        3. If you provided a false or altered document.
        4. If you cannot show evidence that you meet the requirements on your visa.
