Bangladeshi citizens who want to enter Portugal on a Portugal Tourist visa are required to meet the Portugal visa application requirements. They include:
- Proof of your paid visa fees.
- Two recent pictures that comply with the guidelines of the Schengen visa photos. These pictures must be taken within the last 3 months.
- Your Bangladeshi international passport which must be valid for up to 3 months beyond the expiration of your Portugal Tourist visa. It must have at least 2 blank pages and you must have received it in the last 10 years.
- Your filled out visa application form that has been printed and signed.

- Letter of invitation. An invitation letter from a family member or friend resident in Portugal asking you to come and visit them. This letter must have the passport and residence permit of your family member or friend. The local municipality must vouch for your invitation letter, and it must specify how long you want to stay in Portugal. Additionally, you could provide a support declaration that was authorised by a Portuguese Notary Public.
- Explanation of your trip to Portugal (Travel itinerary). It should explain your travel purpose, the places you intend to visit, your personal details, and your travel duration.
- For Minors. Passport photographs of the child’s parents or legal guardian and a letter of consent must be presented. Also, the child’s custody decree (for divorced parents), proof of adoption, birth certificate, and/or death certificates of parents (if the parents are dead).
