Spain Tourist Visa Requirements
To apply for a Spain tourist visa from the Philippines, you must submit a completed Schengen visa application and evidence that you meet the requirements for your planned visit.
The visa authorities assess each application on its own evidence, including your travel purpose, accommodation, financial circumstances, and plans to leave the Schengen Area before your visa expires.
The required documents can vary depending on your circumstances. You should follow the current checklist issued by the Spain visa application centre in the Philippines. Core documents can include:
- A completed and signed Schengen visa application form
- A valid passport issued within the previous 10 years, with at least two blank pages and validity extending for at least three months after your planned departure from the Schengen Area
- Copies of the relevant passport pages, including your personal information page and pages containing visas or entry and exit stamps, where required by the application centre
- Two recent passport photographs that meet the required specifications

How to Apply for a Spain Tourist Visa from Philippines?
In the case of straightforward visa applications, the visa application process is as follows:
You must apply for a Spain tourist visa through the authorised Spain visa application centre in the Philippines.
Applications must be lodged in person because applicants provide facial images and fingerprints as part of the Schengen visa procedure.
You can submit an application up to six months before your planned travel date.
The Spanish Consulate in Manila states that applications should be submitted no later than 15 days before travel, although applying earlier can allow time for document requests or further processing.

Confirm That Spain Is Your Main Destination
Apply to Spain if it is your main destination, such as where you will spend the longest part of your trip. If you will spend the same number of days in more than one Schengen country, apply to the country you will enter first

Wait for a Decision

The legal decision period is 15 calendar days from the date you lodge a complete application. The Consulate may extend this period to 45 calendar days if it requests further documents or asks you to attend an interview.

How Much Does it Cost To Get a Tourist Visa for Spain?
Applicants must pay a visa fee when submitting a Spain tourist visa application. The Consulate General of Spain in Manila publishes its fees in Philippine pesos, and the amount can change.
At the time of writing, the published consular fees are:

Visa fees are non-refundable when an application is refused or withdrawn after submission.
Spain Tourist/Visitor Visa Validity
A Spain tourist visa is a short-stay Schengen visa. It allows you to stay in the Schengen Area for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. This limit is known as the 90/180-day rule.
The visa may be issued for one, two, or multiple entries. Check your visa sticker before travelling to confirm its validity dates, the number of entries allowed, and the maximum number of days you may stay.
